ان ہلاکتوں کی یاد میں کراچی کے علاقے لیاقت آباد (لالو کھیت) میں قائم ’مسجدِ شہداء‘ کے احاطے میں کئی قبریں بطور ثبوت آج بھی موجود ہیں۔
اسی فساد کے تسلسل میں سندھ بھر میں تشدد پھوٹ پڑا تھا اور دیگر علاقوں اور شہروں میں بھی کئی دن تک جاری رہنے والے حملوں�
