Hyderabad: A nursing student injected an elderly couple with an unknown chemical, saying it was Covid vaccine, and whipped away eight tola gold ornaments. Police arrested the student and recovered the stolen jewellery from her possession. The incident happened at Lalitha Nagar in Meerpet on the evening of February 13. The couple was identified as K. Laxman, 80 and his wife Kasturi, 70.
A nurse, who sedated an old couple in Hyderabad with a fake Covid vaccine shot and stole 80 grams of gold jewellery from them, has been arrested, police said on Monday.The incident occurred at Lalitha Nagar under Meerpet police station limits .
