Assam power minister Nandita Gorlosa said in the assembly on Friday that the state has not been able to generate much solar power due to certain geographical and climatic factors. Floods, lengthy rainy season, and non-availability of suitable barren land are some of the major challenges in the development of large solar power projects in the state.
