Zapp Tooling Alloys, Inc.plans to relocate its Gurnee, Illinois operations to Pleasant Prairie.
Zapp is a group of global companies who supply tooling alloys for various specialty markets. The company provides precision, cold-forming and high-performance metallic solutions for numerous industries including automotive, aviation, medical alloy and tool steel.
The company plans to occupy a 38,272 square-foot building in the LakeView Corporate Park. Zapp will employ 8 workers at the facility, according to Pleasant Prairie Press release.
Pleasant Prairie facility workers will saw cut materials and warehouse plate and bar products with orders serving the North American, South American and Asian markets.

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (CBS 58) Snap-on Logistics Corporation announced a new storage facility planned for Pleasant Prairie. The facility will warehouse Snap-on tools and trade show marketing materials.
According to a news release, Snap-on Logistics Corporation purchased the former MG Design building, from TI Investors of Lakeview II LLC, in LakeView Corporate Park. The Plan Commission, on Monday night, Dec. 14, unanimously approved the Site and Operational Plans that were requested by Jacob Gunia, with Snap-on Logistics.
The company will occupy the existing 121,052 square foot industrial building, located at 8778 100th Street, previously occupied by MG Design between 1999 and 2019.
The news release says Snap-on will move into the space in a multi-phased process. The first phase will occur in December 2020, and the second phase will begin in February 2021.
