Carol Ann Tropple, of Antigo, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at home. She was 76 years old. She was born on July 2, 1944, in Antigo, a daughter of Frank and Elvy (Aird) Tropple.
She was a graduate of White Lake High School in 1962 and continued her education at Marathon Center in Wausau.
She served in the United States Army as a medic nurse from Feb. 1, 1966, to Jan. 12, 1969, having been stationed in Europe.
Following military service Ms. Tropple attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received a bachelor of science degree in nursing in 1973.
She worked as a registered nurse at Lakeshore Manor in Madison for four years. She moved to Antigo in 1977 where she worked for the Langlade County Health Department as a registered nurse for 33 years, retiring in 2010.
