A Lauderdale man died Saturday after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 in Chisago County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Ford Escape was traveling southbound on 35 near North Branch when the vehicle drove onto the right shoulder. It overcorrected and slid sideways across the traffic lanes before rolling over into the median ditch. The driver, a 37-year-old Lauderdale resident, died in the crash.
