At 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, the Lakes Area Music Festival will present the second of its Winter Series concerts: Beauty in Chaos, Hope in Order.
Recorded in New York City’s Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, this performance will be broadcast worldwide via the festival’s Facebook page and website.
Beauty in Chaos, Hope in Order will feature music from the 17th century for strings, harpsichord and theorbo (a large, plucked instrument), performed on replicas of the instruments that would have been used at the time.
