Officials are calling this a minor derailment, but its led to major disruptions all afternoon. I want you to look at the two train cars that derailed right before 3 00. One of them is actually sitting on the ground right now. Now, those two cars were part of a ninecar pleasanton bound train and they fell several feet off of the tracks. Officials are currently on the cars right now assessing the damage. B. A. R. T. Says 24 people were on board as it left the station and passengers felt the train shudder, shake, violently about 10 times in a row, and then it ground to a stop. No one was hurt, but passengers were alarmed by the smoke. There was smoke coming out from the car behind me, and i guess thats the car that started to derail. So, you know, we some people walked from that car into our car, and we wanted to get off the train because of the smoke, but the driver said i had cant open the doors.
