Book signing party set April 24 in Outing

The Channel Bar & Grill in Outing will host a book signing party for author Sue Dugan Moline from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24.
Moline wrote The Lake Turned Upside Down: The Story of Unthinkable Tragedy and Incredible Survival in the 1969 Outing, Minnesota F4 Tornado. The book was released on Amazon.com and DuganBooks.com in December and quickly became an Amazon Best Seller - reaching the top 100 in sales in two categories, Christian Inspirational and Historical Biographies.

On August 6th, 1969, an F-4 tornado ripped through northern Minnesota and wreaked havoc from nearly 38 miles impacting parts of Crow Wing County, Cass County, and Aitkin County. In that path of destruction was Roosevelt Lake in Outing where Sue Dugan Moline and her family were on vacation.
“There were 17 of us in the cabin at the time, and it was like somebody pulled the rug out from under us. All of a sudden we’re on the floor and we’re moving,” Moline said.
The entire cabin was swept up and carried into the lake.
Sue Dugan Moline, a survivor of the Outing tornado in 1969 has written a book called, The Lake Turned Upside Down.
