SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – A variety of events that celebrate the winter season will be held Friday and Saturday at the Lake Superior Ice Festival.
Among the Barker’s Island festivities are ice racing, ice sculpting, a giant snow slide, bonfires, kubb tourneys, disc golf and fat tire bike demonstrations.
Fireworks will wrap up the festival on Saturday night.
Social distancing will be maintained and masks should be worn when near others.

The Lake Superior Ice Festival is coming back to Barker’s Island with free, fun, family-friendly events in an outdoor venue.
The festival kicks off the afternoon of Friday, Jan. 29, and continues through Saturday, Jan. 30.
