Volunteers from the Zonta Club of the Adirondacks participate in a past Lake Placid Clean Up Day. This yearâs event, originally scheduled for May 1, has been postponed until Saturday, May 8.
(Photo provided) LAKE PLACID Rain dates can be snow dates in the Adirondacks during the spring. That’s what’s happening this week with Lake Placid’s Clean Up Day, which was originally scheduled for today. Due to snow in the forecast, the event will be postponed until the rain/snow date a week later, according to organizers. I Love My Park Day today at the John Brown Farm State Historic Site, however, will go on as planned, according to Site Manager Brendan Mills.
