Weve been working with our sister station in san diego as it gathers new information. Here is the latest. The shooting happened about 11 00 last night in the city southcrest area. Police are releasing few details that say it happened shortly after the officers conducted a traffic stop. We also know one suspect is in custody but police are still on the hunt for a second suspect and theres been a manhunt under way. As for the officer in surgery he is expected to survive.
