40th and North shooting: Milwaukee man wounded, suspect sought

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred near 40th and W. North Avenue on Friday morning, July 16.
The shooting happened around 11:40 a.m. and stemmed from an argument, police say.
The victim, a 33-year-old Milwaukee man, suffered serious injuries. He was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
A Good Samaritan worked to try to save the Lake Mary mother who was hit and killed by a truck, and even though she died, the man is thankful she wasn't alone in her final moments.

LAKE MARY, Fla. - Lake Mary police say they have recovered the vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash has been found.
Police say they have processed it for evidence in the case and it is currently impounded with the Florida Highway Patrol. A person of interest has also been identified.
The incident happened near North Country Club Boulevard and Old Lake Mary Road in Lake Mary. Lake Mary Police identified the victim as Katrina Redden, 39, of Sanford.
According to police, some sort of scuffle or incident began in a small parking lot along North Country Club Boulevard. Debris and other physical evidence led to where the victim was found along a wooden fence.

Woman killed in ‘suspicious’ hit-and-run in Lake Mary
LAKE MARY, Fla. – A 35-year-old Sanford woman was killed late Monday in a “suspicious” hit-and-run crash in Lake Mary, police said.
Lake Mary police said the woman was struck around 11:45 p.m. in a parking lot near Country Club Road and Lake Mary Avenue. They identified the victim as Katrina Redden Tuesday afternoon.
