Private Family Services will be held. A memorial service will be held in the summer. Arrangements are with the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.
Clara was born July 8, 1926, in Harrold, South Dakota, to Eugene and Anna Edelman. They eventually moved to Lake Alice, Minnesota, where she attended school. She was one of 17 children.
Clara was a stay at home mom. She raised 7 sons, David (Una) Bessler, Duane (Kristi) Bessler, Daryl (Margie) Bessler, Dennis (Sheryl) Bessler, Larry (Doreen) Bessler, Glen (Laurel) Bessler, Richard (MarLynn) Bessler, and a daughter, Sharon (Curt) Hadrava. Survivors also include 26 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren as well as 10 of her siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley, an infant daughter, Darlene, her son, Glen, and daughter-in-law, Susan, as well as siblings Flossie, Donald, Karl, Paul, Stanley, and Grace.
