Restoration Of Beloved Murals At Lake Forest Library To Begin Soon - Lake Forest-Lake Bluff, IL - The library board recently approved devoting up to $266,000 to repair and restore 12 murals that are nearly 92 years old inside the library.
Under the terms of the settlement agreement, the developers, Peter Witmer and Todd Altounian, are modifying their latest proposal for the property within the city’s historic preservation district on McKinley Road, just east of the city’s downtown.
