WATCH: Where the Buffalo Roam
SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo State Park is home to a herd of bison and very special longhorn cattle. According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, the longhorns are from the Official State of Texas herd. These symbols of Texas are a rich part of Texas history and helped shaped the state into what it is today. And the bison are a part of the unique history of Texas.

The bison roam a pasture near the south shore of O.C. Fisher reservoir between Mercedes St., the dam, the park entrance and the spillway.

LAKE CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â
UPDATE 12/20:
The San Patricio County Sheriff s Office has confirmed that the body of 68-year-old Philip Richard Boutin has been recovered by Texas Parks & Wildlife divers at Lake Corpus Christi.
UPDATE 12/18:
Two cadaver dogs with the Texas Game Warden s Office have been taken to Lake Corpus Christi to assist in the search for the body of a man who drowned there earlier this week.
San Patricio County Sheriff Oscar Rivera said these dogs have been placed on a boat in the lake.
