CEC Feroz Khan visits Zojila Pass - Scoop News Jammu Kashmir

Kargil, March 14 (Scoop News)-Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan today visited Zojila Pass in order to review the status of opening of the national highway. Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Santosh Sukhadeve accompanied the CEC during the visit. The CEC took an assessment of the snow clearance works on the national highway and visited the highway till Zero Point on the Zojila Pass. Khan was informed that the road has been cleared from both sides. However, due to precautionary measures, it will take few more days to reopen the Zojila pass due to the possibility of snow slides at few spots. The CEC directed to open the pass within a week for vehicular movement as the holy month of Ramadan is approaching and also to felicitate the travel of passengers across the highway. CEC Feroz Khan reviews developmental activities at Lalung, Silmo, Hordas

Kargil, December 04(Scoop News)- Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan today visited Lalung, Silmo, and Hordas to review the ongoing developmental projects in the area. The CEC was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Development Ghulam Muhammad, Executive Engineer R&B Kacho Mehmood Ali Khan, Executive Engineer Irrigation and Flood Control Muhammad Hassan, Executive Engineer Kargil Development Authority Sajjad Wazir, Chief Horticulture Officer Ali Raza, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Muhammad Hussain Rehnuma besides officials of Soil Conservation Department, PDD, PHE besides other officials.
