The Pennsbury Education Foundation recently awarded four grants totaling almost $3,000.
They will be used to purchase equipment for various programs and classes not affordable under the regular school district budget. The foundation hands out grants twice a year and will award another round in the spring.
Grants awarded this time were:
$459.50 to Charles Boehm Middle School Principal Travis Bloom and school counselor Donna Bradshaw for 50 pairs of noise-cancelling headsets;
$527.24 to Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School Principal Lisa Follman and teacher Brian Doron for movement-based equipment that reinforces literacy and numeracy skills;
$969.99 to Pennsbury High School East Principal Reggie Meadows and teacher Kelsey Adair for a Laguna Pro-X seamless art spray booth;
