The Governor Also Announced a new meal program, working with fema, and local cities and counties. They will partner with restaurants to prepare and deliver three meals a day. We told you how many food banks and local organizations have strained to fill the need. Under this new program, restaurants will be reimbursed for providing three meals a day, seven days a week. Fema is picking up 75 of the cost, with the state paying most of the rest. The governor said that there are guidelines for which seniors will be eligible. They must either high risk covid19, must be in a position where their economics are below 600 of federal poverty.
