Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Lagos State, Mr. Philip Aivoji. Aivoji was reportedly abducted on Thursday along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway at around 6pm. The Lagos State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Hakeem Amode, who confirmed Aivoji’s abduction called on security agencies and government authorities at all levels to intervene promptly and secure his release.
