WREXHAM Lager has apologised for traffic disruption early today - but it was all in a good cause. Wrexham Lager was pleased to be despatching a major order of its award-winning lager to Poland - but they didn t expect the driver to bring the articulated lorry cab first into the yard. It meant that, after the trailer was loaded with 18,000 bottles of both Wrexham Lager and Bootlegger Pilsner, brewery staff had to stop traffic while the driver reversed the lorry out again. 18,000 bottles of Wrexham Lager were picked up today and are now bound for Pozna in western Poland. The pick up was another milestone in the Wrexham Lager success story as it is the first major export of the beers into Europe after they both won gold awards in 2020.
