Twelve women & a business honored at YWCA Cass Clay Women of the Year Awards

KVRR Local News April 26, 2021 There are 39 women and Edward Jones Investments nominated in 13 categories. Winners include Agnes Harrington with Share House with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Holly Erickson with West Fargo Public Schools in the education category and Laetitia Hellerud with Ubuntu Consulting in the advocating for equality category. Hellerud is a four-time refugee since fleeing her home country of Burundi at age five. She is a Cultural Consultant working for an inclusive community. “Thank you to all my sisters in this fight towards equality and inclusion and many of you here deserve this award and we heard the lineup. Truly everyone,” Hellerud said.

We all have funky names and yes at the end of the day we do need to realize that we’re all working together to fulfill the greater goal,” Assistant Commissioner for Immigrant and Refugee Affairs at the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development Anisa Hajimumin said.
