Marking her first in-person appearance since the funeral of Prince Philip last month, the Queen attended the State Opening of Parliament on Tuesday to deliver her annual speech in the House of Lords.
For the occasion, in which she spoke of the Government’s pledge to bring forward proposals to reform adult social care this year, Her Majesty wore a muted mauve coat and hat decorated with delicate yellow flowers. Underneath was a glimpse of a pale blue floral dress last seen in a photograph to mark Prince Philip s 99th birthday. She accessorised with a pair of aquamarine Boucheron brooches, a pearl necklace, and her usual Launer handbag.
