The Jefferson City Lady Jays outlasted the Capital City Lady Cavaliers on Tuesday night, using a strong start and finish to win 25-14, 25-23, 19-25, 25-21 for a Central Missouri Activities Conference victory at Capital City High School. Winning always feels good, but winning on Capital City’s court is extra special for the Lady Jays. “Rivalry games are fun, but they are tough, they are always going to be tough,” Jefferson City coach Ali Eskens said.
It was a pitchers’ duel between Molly Berkey and Avrey Reynolds in the circle Wednesday night at Vogel Field, but an unearned run pushed the Helias Lady Crusaders to a 1-0 win against the Jefferson City Lady Jays in Central Missouri Activities Conference action.
