I was born in venezuela and emigrated to wesatern florida at the age of 11 with my parents. My parents made a very difficult decision to leave venezuela when the situation began to deteriorate in our home country. My mother and father brought me and my Three Sisters to south florida in the hopes of building a Better Future for us. My immigration story is one that so many here in miami are familiar with. We are a community of immigrants from all over. From cuba, to haiti, to nicaragua, and in my case, venezuela. My parents had a successful and happy life in venezuela.
