Another great former BHS athlete who had a short, yet successful 2020, was Oral Roberts pitcher AJ Archambo. Archambo worked his way into the starting rotation early in the season with the Golden Eagles after a great summer in 2019. Archambo made three starts, going 1-1 with a 4.70 earned run average. He struck out 12 in 15.1 innings of work. He was sidelined by an injury right before a shutdown due to COVID-19. And former Bartlesville Bruin defensive back
AJ Parker had one of the highlights of the year for Kansas State football. The Wildcats started their Big 12 season with a bang, beating OU on the road. 38-35.

BHS Goes 1-2 in BK Tournament
Evan Fahrbach Bartlesville High Lady Bruin and Bruins basketball both went 1-2 during tournament play in Tulsa over the weekend at the Bishop Kelley Invitational. The event wrapped up on Saturday afternoon with two BHS losses. The Lady Bruins lost a close one to Ada, 48-44. The Bruin guys fell to Mustang 67-54. The BHS girls fall to 1-4, the Bruin guys are 2-3. The Bruins would have turnover trouble after Mustang switched defenses in the second quarter. Bartlesville trailed by one at half, but would get down as many as 18 in the fourth quarter.
