WEST LAFAYETTE – She’s a schoolteacher with an entrepreneurial spirit – and a passion for clothes and trends. She’s Kayla Miller, owner of Mint Ivy Boutique.
“I’ve always liked keeping up on ‘trends,’” she said, “but never imagined I would have an actual store, to keep trends up-to-date in, and be able to help people put together different looks, and just give a positive, fun atmosphere for shopping.
“Having Mint Ivy was never really something I thought of growing up,” she added. “I never got super into the clothing industry until I was older and had my first son and started selling Lularoe at home. From there I decided I wanted to have my own thing, so I started branching out and did Mint Ivy, mainly online and out of my house. Then I opened the actual storefront in December 2019 and never looked back.”
