The Lincoln Blue Tigers women’s basketball team dropped its seventh straight game Monday night in a 77-48 decision against the Missouri Southern Lions at Jason Gym. The Lions jumped out to a hot start in the first quarter, knocking down four 3s in the first 10 minutes. It was their defense that made the difference in the opening quarter, forcing eight turnovers led by freshman guard Lacy Stokes, who had five of her game-high six steals in the first. This allowed the Lions to take a 19-13 lead into the second quarter.
