Shelter Cove Workday at Black Sands Beach

Shelter Cove Workday at Black Sands Beach Invasive plant removal and work in the native plant gardens at Black Sands Beach is the focus of the next BLM/Friends of the Lost Coast work party in Shelter Cove. On Sunday, October 29, volunteers are invited to lend a hand in planting natives and removing invasives from this popular destination. The event runs 10a.m. to 1p.m. and a limited number of stipends are available for ages 12-17. Meet 10a.m. at the west end of the Black Sands Beach parking area, 856 Beach Road in Shelter Cove. Volunteer Workday at Black Sands Beach Join Friends of the Lost Coast and BLM for a day of service at Black Sands Beach in Shelter Cove from 10a.m to 1p.m..
