Nagaland media team return from Sikkim exposure tour

Dimapur, May 28 (EMN): A 14-member media team comprising of officials from DIPR, and journalists from Nagaland private media houses, who had undertaken a week-long media exposure tour to Sikkim from May 20, returned to Dimapur on May 27. The trip has enriched the media team on Sikkim’s tourism sector and the state’s organic farming system. During the exposure visit, the team visited Gangtok and North Sikkim and witnessed their system of working, experienced their culture, visited different tourist destinations including Zero Point, which lies in the northern region of Sikkim (15 km from Lachung Valley), standing at an altitude of 15,300 feet above sea level, an update from DIPR informed. At Gangtok, the team visited Nathu La, a mountain pass in the Himalayan peaks that co-joins Sikkim and China.
