Carthage, Ill.- The Hancock County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrests of two Missouri residents for methamphetamine possession. According to a news release, at about 12:02 AM Friday, April 7th, a Hancock County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 1015 Broadway Street in Hamilton, Illinois for a traffic violation. The driver, 42-year-old Lacey Ford of Kahoka, Missouri was found to be in possession of hypodermic syringes which field tested positive for methamphetamine and controlled substances that were not prescribed to her. The passenger in the vehicle, 43-year-old Aaron Sisson of Kahoka was found to be in possession of a smoking pipe which field tested positive for methamphetamine and controlled substances. Both were placed under arrest and transported to the Hancock County Jail.
