Notices from the London Borough of Barnet in this week’s edition of the
Barnet Borough Times outline the proposals which will take effect from the start of next month, including new double yellow lines in some streets. The orders are being introduced because “it is considered that certain lengths of public highway should be kept clear of parked vehicles to ensure motorists and pedestrian safety, prevent obstructive parking, and allow adequate traffic flow”. The effect of the orders will be to introduce new or formalise exiting waiting restrictions. From Monday, May 3: A length of ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions at (A5) Stonegrove near its junction with Lacey Drive will be formalised.
