A police sergeant charged with misconduct for having an intimate encounter with a woman in his police car told a jury she demanded he have sex with her.
It is claimed Lee Cocking was on duty as an acting police inspector when he picked the woman up near the Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare and had a sexual encounter with her.
Cocking said he was giving her a lift home when she initiated sex.
The 39-year-old married dad-of two, of Labourham Way in Cheddar, Somerset, denies misconduct in a judicial or public office while on duty on Christmas Eve, 2017.
