and that i may be true. or it s exactly what a campaign ah has to you say and what that campaign has done from the beginning is staked a lot in iowa. understandably so. ron desantis is a popular governor of florida. governed very conservatively and iowa made sense when you re thinking about iowa vis-a-vis new hampshire for him to put a stake in the ground. spent a lot of time on the ground there. yet the poll numbers haven t moved. so i think he s the one with the most at stake on that tuesday. nicknikki haley can say okay, im going to new hampshire. vivek ramaswamy, he s just got to do better than 7% to show he s got momentum. donald trump is going to i think beat the 50% threshold. desantis is the one with a lot of chips on the table. trump is not taking it for p granted. he s sprinting to the finish. so is the desantis camp. rachel: they say that his game, his organizers are very organized and are doing a good job but we ll see, again, this
and that is true as of the last 18 months, but he must sense that he is weaker vis-a-vis of the people closest to him who are the closest adviser, and let me get this straight, were going to ukraine and it was over for a couple of days and this is what amounts a coup attempt, and what is with putin, and he would not be the first to be removed. gorbachev was removed for that reason. and so we don t know if this prigozhin is still alive or where he is. and who knows if the russians were having any success inside of the battlefield, and what happens to them? yeah, i would not say they
about the presidential records act a few times but we don t know how this shape up and which lawyers are going to be running it previous lawyers last week when the indictment dropped. i understand why a lot of conservatives point out to politically motivated attacks on trump that s true. the double standard concerns particularly vis-a-vis mrs. clinton are valid as well. at some point though that becomes noise if and when a trial begins we heard there in that soundbite one of trump s spokespeople saying that as president he had the authority to summarily which is true. according to the indictment. the president on tape said that he had these documents that he was flashing in front of people who didn t have clearances. he was saying on the tape that he did not declassify those documents when he was president and, therefore, they are still secret. that s goings to be be a serious fact in the case that s going to
the electoral college, including donald trump himself. the party is facing that history and the maga problems and an internal republican fight that also, in a way, kind of mirrors governor haley s own struggle and then ultimately public turn around vis-a-vis her old boss donald trump. i will not stop until we fight a man that chooses not to disavow the kkk. that s not who we want as president. so, you going to vote for donald trump? of course. donald trump is everything i taught my children not to do in kinder garten. he has earned more four years as president. mr. trump definitely contributed to what i call responsible talk. nikki haley accepted the role as ambassador to the united nations. i would not run if president trump ran. i m nikki haley, and i m running for president.
from an active investigation of who has access to those documents. so this complicated ruling from that trump-appointed judge could likely hamper not just a criminal investigation into the former president, but also the attempt to get to the bottom of a potentially deadly series intelligence failure. joining us now is colorado senator michael bennet, a member of the senate intelligence committee, senator, thanks for being here. always good to see you. thanks for having me. congratulations on the show. thank you. thank you for being on the show. let me just first get your assessment of what republicans in the senate think of everything that s happened vis-a-vis mar-a-lago because on one hand you have josh hawley effectively saying the findings are no big deal, it is the method by which they were found. and then on the other hand, you have senator marco rubio and i ll quote what he said to politico this morning, saying they never came to us and said there s a bunch of missing class
