The Colorado Department of Transportation will be replacing numerous signs along highways in 11 locations in southeast Colorado between October 2 and 6. The project will be in operation from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.Work will consist of sign removal of more than 1,000 worn out signs, installing up to 1,060 new signs and 700 new posts.The new signs, which include speed limit, directional, street, mile point, guide, regulatory, and warning signs, will have better reflectivity at night to help drivers navigate highways more safely.
