Our Correspondent Sungratsü, Oct. 7 (EMN): The Sungratsü Officers’ Forum (SOF) celebrated its silver jubilee at Senden Salang in Sungratsü village under Mokokchung district on October 7 on the theme “Khutong.” The principal of Discipleship Bible College, Dimapur, Rev. S Wati Aier, who was the theme speaker, translated the meaning of “Khutong” to the leaders. He stated that “Khutong” in the past was referred to exceptional leaders who contributed to the welfare of the society while in today’s context the meaning has been replaced by officers. He said the village community has not forgotten the many works contributed by the forum for the uplift of the village, adding that the contributions of the officers have brought about remarkable changes in all fields. Stating that jubilee is a time to retrospect and introspect on the achievements and works of the forum, he said that the officers are the leaders and the supporters who should not only focus on the social and politi
