QC imposes emergency measures, two-week liquor ban anew

Published March 14, 2021, 4:41 PM The local government of Quezon City will start implementing emergency measures and protocols and reimposition of liquor ban starting Monday, March 15 to lessen the local transmission of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the city. “The drastic increase of cases is very alarming. We want to stop the transmission as early as now so that we no longer have to implement another nationwide lockdown,” Mayor Belmonte said in a statement on Sunday, March 14. The guidelines will take effect on March 15 until March 31, covering all workplaces, public areas, and business establishments in the city. Strict compliance of public safety hours, health protocols in workplaces, mandatory use of the Kyusi Pass digital contact tracing app, and the re-implementation of a two-week liquor ban must be observed in the city.
