More than 525 students from elementary schools throughout the Cherokee County School District recently competed in the Cherokee County Science Olympiad.
Hundreds of young mathematicians participated in the third annual Cherokee County School District Elementary School Math Competition, and Hickory Flat Elementary School was named the overall champion.
