TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) -The Arizona Bowl was different this year. There were no fans in the stands and none of the pre-bowl game festivities.
″I hope that we never have to face the challenges that we’ve had to face this year, just as a community and a world. But even more specifically in college football,” said Kym Adair, the Executive Director of the Arizona Bowl.

TUCSON, Ariz., Dec. 23, 2020 /PRNewswire/ As the College Football Bowl Season kicks off, the Arizona Bowl is proud to announce that Offerpad will be the title sponsor for the 2020 nationally televised game. The Offerpad Arizona Bowl kicks off at Arizona Stadium at 12:00pm MST (2pm EST) and will be presented by CBS Sports on the CBS Television Network. The battle will feature the Mountain West Champion San Jose State Spartans, matched against the Mid-American Champion Ball State Cardinals.
The Arizona Bowl is proud to announce that Offerpad will be the title sponsor for the 2020 nationally televised game. The Offerpad Arizona Bowl kicks off at Arizona Stadium at 12:00pm MST (2pm EST) and will be presented by CBS Sports on the CBS Television Network.
To stage a contest, Beck needed two schools. He only had one. Then, amid all the uncertainty, he lost that one too. Tulsa saw an opportunity to play in the Armed Forces Bowl against Mississippi State and took it, leaving the Military Bowl without any teams and lacking any real alternatives.
Beck pulled the plug. The Military Bowl was canceled.

At the end of a season that saw its fair share of disruptions due to the coronavirus pandemic, bowl games are facing their own disturbances. The number of bowls has steadily grown in recent years, giving more teams the opportunity to compete and enticing more fanbases to travel for the holidays.
