A Melbourne man who allegedly murdered his wife by setting their Albanvale house alight confessed his love for her and apologised in the incident s aftermath, a court has been told.
Roland Griffiths, 38, spent two months under police guard while receiving hospital treatment for burns he gained in the Melbourne house fire that killed his wife Kylie Griffith, 36, on March 14.
