Explosion. You might remember we told you about the 911 call hours after the first building blew up. We knew back then that the caller complained about the smell of gas. Now we have that 911 call. A man makes that call after he was walking back to his apartment on arliss street and noticed a strange smell. He tells dispatcher he smells natural gas. He first smelled it on the outside of the building. Coming from the first floor. And then he went up the stairs. Still smelled it. The smell had been in the building for more than a few minutes so he called 911. Where inside the building . Its just like i want to report a strong smell of gas in the building going to on for like 30 minutes or more. Scott that tells us, this was a lingering smell of gas.
