Behind two Vinny Martinez home runs and seven shutout innings from the bullpen, Notre Dame baseball downed Valparaiso 7-3 Tuesday afternoon in South Bend.
In the first weekend of the 2023 season, Dan Fitzgerald’s Jayhawks picked up a series win with a 6-4 comeback victory against Valparaiso on Sunday at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi, Texas. Sophomore Chase Jans hit a go-ahead three-run home run in the sixth inning to put the Jayhawks in the lead for good.

Utica Blue Sox 20, Watertown Rapids 3
With a win and Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs loss, the Blue Sox have clinched a spot in the playoffs and will determine the central division winner in the final night of the regular season as they remain tied with the Auburn Doubledays atop the standings.
It was a historic performance for the Sox, who scored the most runs in franchise history thanks to five RBI from Luis DeLeon and three a-piece for Kyle Schmack and Tanner Kim.
Utica is now 24-17 heading into the regular season final where they will visit Watertown on Thursday.
