New Hampshire ski areas are benefiting from this week’s snowfall.

“We received a record-breaking 48 inches here at Ragged Mountain, and it was some of the lightest fluffiest snow you could ever find. It s beautiful,” said Kyle Matzke of Ragged Mountain.
“It s really done a number for the mountain, enabled us to get a leap forward in opening up terrain,” Matzke added.
In Gilford, Gunstock got about 3 feet of snow from the storm. And the ski area is still making its own snow, too. The general manager said even when it snows in other parts of the state, it gets people in the right state of mind.
