Suspect opened fire on another man here along park avenue. Its unclear if that man was also armed. He was shot in the thigh, and ran to a nearby store for help. Meanwhile, two housing officers came upon the suspect outside the whitman houses. At some point, Police Say One of the officers opened fire. The suspect was wounded in the shoulder, but its unclear at this point if he was shot by that officer or during the earlier incident. Noise going off. So that was it. Five gunshots . Could have been. Reporter now the shooting suspect who was shot in the shoulder, he was taken to bellevue hospital. Hes expected to be okay. And so is the man hes accused of shooting.
