+ June 10, 2021 POLICE have also filed criminal charges against a businesswoman who allegedly intended to engage in illegal trading of vaccination slots.
Nina Ellaine Dizon-Cabrera was charged on Monday, June 7, 2021 with estafa under Article 315 of the Revised Penal Code; violation of Section 21-H of Republic Act 11032, or the Anti-Red Tape Law of 2007; and violation of Section 6 of Republic Act 10175, or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
The same charges were filed against Cyle Cedric Soriano Bonifacio, formerly identified as Kyle Bonifacio, and Melvin Polo Gutierrez, a fire and barangay volunteer in Mandaluyong City.
Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Guillermo Eleazar said Cabrera was also charged after the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group found that she had intended to buy and sell vaccination slots.
Mandaluyong City Public Information Office (PIO) head and Chief of Staff Jimmy Isidro said on Friday that no employee of the city hall or a member of the vaccination team is involved in the alleged vaccine for a fee scheme.

In an interview with DZMM Teleradyo on Thursday, Mandaluyong Police Chief Col. Gauvin Mel Unos said they will specifically look into those who have access to the list of people who will undergo vaccination.
“Di pwedeng mag prosper ang ganito without the help of other people (Things like this will not prosper without the help of other people),” Unos said.
Suspect Kyle Bonifacio, who surrendered to Mandaluyong Cty Mayor Menchie Abalos on Wednesday, had earlier insisted that he had no contact with anyone from any local government unit (LGU).
Unos confirmed that Bonifacio has “no direct connection” to persons involved in the vaccination but has friends who had an “informant” on the rollout.
