Mumbrella Awards 2021 shortlist, Merrick Watts to host the gala event May 20, 2021 10:23 The shortlist for the 2021 Mumbrella Awards has been announced, with The Monkeys and Special Group among the top nominations. With 11 nominations, The Monkeys received two nods in the Mumbrella Award for Insight, TV Ad of the Year and Social Idea of the Year categories, as well as nominations in Best Use of Real-Time Marketing, Creative Agency of the Year and Ad Campaign of the Year. Meanwhile, Special Group earned ten nominations across categories including TV Ad of the Year, Content Marketing Strategy of the Year, Social Idea of the Year, Best Use of Real-Time Marketing, and the Mumbrella Awards for Bravery, Insight and Innovation.

The spots showcase the talents of the 2020 Telstra Ballet Dancer Awards nominees and calls the public to vote for their favourite to win the People’s Choice Award.   Many Australian Ballet dancers, along with millions of people in Melbourne, were confined to their homes last year. Pushing the confines of space and taking the limits off ballet, each dancer was given a 4×2 metre dancefloor on which they could practice. This restriction became the insight upon which the creative concept was developed: a tiny stage for a tiny screen.

Powered by Chrome OS – the fast, simple and secure operating system built by Google, Chromebooks come with built-in security, fast boot, all day battery and works with the apps available on the Google Play store. To bring this campaign to life, R/GA and Google teamed up with Jenny Kee, Dan Hong and Poppy Starr – Inspirational Australians who embody this ‘new way’ of computing, to break pre-existing perceptions of Chromebooks and introduce the product and its features.
