EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville police are looking for a suspect after they say he tried to rob a liquor store.
Around 7:15 Wednesday night, the Evansville Police Department was dispatched to a hold-up alarm at the Kwik Stop Liquor at First Avenue and Louisiana.
Once on scene, officers learned that a man wearing a brown jacket, jeans and what appeared to be green gym shoes told the clerk he had a weapon and wanted money.
Police say the suspect didn’t receive any of the money and left the store eastbound on foot.
