Veteran journalist and Managing Editor of The Insight Newspaper, Mr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr claims the late former President Jerry John Rawlings was not the founder of constitutional rule in Ghana.
Kwesi Pratt made this claim earlier today, January 28, during a panel discussion on Pan African TV s Good Morning Africa program which was hosted by Kwame Owusu Danso.
According to Mr. Pratt who was an active journalist during Rawlings hey days, Rawlings should not be recognised as the one behind the constitutional rule the country is enjoying today as he [Rawlings] personally said in an interview on Asaase Radio that he was not willing to or in favor of transiting into constitutional rule.
