VTU BE, BTech June-July semester 5, 6 results 2017 has been announced at www.vtu.ac by Visvesvaraya Technological University. Results include non-CBCS BE and BTech papers for all regions of the state.
Students can check their VTU BE, BTech June-July semester 5, 6 results 2017 which is now available at www.vtu.ac.in. Exams were conducted in the months of June and July this year.

attendance is 85% and above

students facing shortage of attendance (less than 85 per cent, including
online classes).
The principals have been asked to withhold the admission tickets of such students and not to permit them to write exams.
VTU s Registrar (Evaluation) BE Rangaswamy sent a note to all the principals asking them to submit the list of students having shortage of attendance through web interface, in respect of the odd semester 2021 by January 20. The students should possess 85 per cent attendance considering both online and offline classes. However, there is a provision to condone the attendance up to 10 per cent on the specific recommendation of the principal as per the regulation. VTU has not made it mandatory for institutes to tie up with a
private company
industry hub in colleges after criticism from a section of academicians.
On December 25, varsity registrar AS Deshpande had sent out a circular to colleges saying that they want to set up an industry hub by signing a MoU with a Bengaluru-based private company. The first circular issued on December 25 stated, A private company has proposed to charge Rs 17,864 per final-year student for offering industry hub services. Major services and deliverables from the industry hub would be assisting the final-year students for project work, internship and pre-placement training programmes.
