Cinema goers have hit out at those calling for The Lady of Heaven to be banned, arguing that removing the film from UK cinemas would fuel intolerance towards the Muslim community.
This comes after peaceful protests by British Muslims outside venues in Birmingham, Bolton, Bradford and Sheffield over the negative portrayal of some of Islam s most important figures.
